On Remote is the original Pirate Radio Arazel podcast which started it all. Back in the spring of 2009 broadcasting from our studios in Toronto, Canada. The shows format consists of alternative underground sounds of Iran. Rock, Punk, Funk, Hip Hop, Electronica and Nu Folk. The show has been responsible for a number of unknown artists reach a broader audience otherwise impossible.

On Remote host, Amir Ebrahimnia, the brain child behind Pirate Radio Arazel has been bringing his original brand of innovation and vision to Toronto and beyond for over 20 years. Pulling from a vast array of experiences in the music, entertainment, advertising and promotions industry, Amir brings a unique perspective to the table. From social networking sites to on-line news networks, Amir understands what the Net is today.

Every week I was being contacted by 100′s of artists who recognized the success of this platform. Every Sunday at midnight a new podcast was airing on the internet. Fed directly to all different social networking platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Myspace as well as a featured podcast within iTunes, the show was a huge hit.”
